The M & R I-Dot is what you need. Best prints on black, the best support, and made in Chicago.

If you are doing small runs as needed, a DTG printer is not the best choice to PURCHASE...

Instead, it would be better to contract your jobs to another DTG shop until you prove your designs and start-up...

Once you know you have the volume to print a little something everyday, then it will make sense to buy a printer.

DTG printers need to print, just like your desk top inkjet printer... But unlike your desk top printer, you can't just replace the $20 cartridge and be back good as new...

Worst case, you are looking at a new print head and damper/filter... Having an additional $300 bill for a few shirts really cuts into your profits.
