Just now a client wants to know why a design we did yesterday does not match one we did for them in 2013. (seriously you cannot make this S%#T up!) I am so sorry that I did not remember doing this for you nearly 7 years ago! I am getting older so prolly my mental dewy decimal system could be failing. UH BTW if you already have had this for 7 years why are you ordering it again and being charged again for it?

"well this is a new order don't we need a new file?"

OH sweet child grant me some patience.

Can you tell me what the PMS is too? uh prolly not as we just digitize we do not choose colors as we only put in color stops. (messed up a large Amex order years ago for picking the correct blue but sewing it in the wrong angle so in the sunlight the pms color was different...3000 caps!) angle of stitching does change the color our eyes perceive

ah 2020 with a BANG!
Client: "May I please have you rotate the icon so that the blue crescent faces left towards Mind Springs and that will cause the green crescent to face right towards west springs this will keep the blue crescent stacked first and the green crescent next in line"

this actually makes sense but thought all the writing was a bit excessive as "rotate 90degrees to the right" would have worked fine.

but I want green first and blue can flip off! lol

jacket back quoted at 47,000 stitches, once completed (before any changes that hopefully but could be wanted after sewout) the design actually has 45,936. Client is UPSET that my quote was so far off! (10 inch wide jacket back) 98 percent is not close enough? lol

BTW look at the file on your computer.. then look at it on your embroidery machine.. NEITHER will match our 45,936.... does not work that way you M.....

Now I can understand if the design came to way MORE than the quote as that could interfere with your pricing and machine time.. but 2 percent under quote (depending on viewing item and how they count jump stitches, etc) and you are upset? ok, ok, i will refund the 2.00 happy now?

today a client sends in an image showing the embroidery is "bowing" and to please fix it. Well this is not what we digitized... they stretched a 2.25 inch tall design (which we did do) to 4 inches tall and then rotated it in their own software. not our design sorry.
NO PROBLEM at all fixing our designs if necessary... but if you modify yourselves especially to this degree warranty voided.

Thoughts?

That is definitely their problem now.
I am sure that if they had contacted you for the changes you would have done it for them with just an "edit fee" if necessary.
Stay strong to deal with all the odd clients you have.

They are good clients, most in this industry are, but I just get so darn frustrated that they do not know what they are doing and seem to have no desire to figure it out! Oh the embroidery is in the wrong color... must be the digitizers fault. lol
Be like me working in an auto parts store... sorry sir this is the carburetor I found on the shelf it should fit your engine (yes I added the .......s cause I know how you love that! lol! Hope you are having a great beginning to 2020!)

today client wants to know why her hat design is sewing upside down. OH the fun I could have with this one but instead I just told her that she needed to turn her machine around to face the wall.

I don't think that is the case I think just lazier. Oh I can take a 6 week course and become a realtor and make millions OR I can take NO course and sell embroidery! Both are equally moronic
