Client: "please fix this, it is sewing one stitch at a time"

UH... don't ALL machines sew one stitch at a time?

no stitch is wider than 4mm so I am thinking their machine is not going into jump stitch mode. any thoughts? do they have a setting change? not sure. help?

That... seriously makes no sense... I would need more information. If its trimming after each stitch than that sounds like the machine is messed up or doing something strange... which could happen with a corrupted or messed up file. I have had weird glitches with the software that I had to go back into the stitch list and somehow the program added functions that I don't even have (somehow added sequin down and i don't even have the sequin tools in wilcom)

Client today orders the exact same design she ordered from us 2 weeks ago. Two people working same design? Short memory span? Something else going on?

Then she is upset that I let her know that. WHAT? should I have just charged you again? I just asked I am sorry but what is different from this design and the design we did 2 weeks ago. Maybe I am missing changes, please advise?

Client: "I don\'t need this artwork digitized. We are buying embroidered patches with this art in this shape, and I need a dst file that will sew the patch onto a shirt."

Me: "ah, do you just want a running stitch to sew it down or an actual satin border on top of that?"

Client: "Just a running stitch to sew it down. See attached proof of an actual patch, it will have a black border."

that was two weeks ago

Client today: "Our embroidery dept commented: I think the outline needs to be a satin stitch If you can please let me know?"

YOU let US know... when you figure out what you are selling? scratching my head.

Client today orders a design ... I remember doing this design just two weeks ago. Now is it two clients that are in the same town or neighboring towns competing for this job? I search and find out it is the SAME client.

Maybe two people in the same company not communicating with each other? maybe an older fart like me who just forgot?

Problem to me is when I ask if there is a difference between the new order and the one done two weeks ago that I just am not seeing (happens, what is different between these two pictures.. MAD mag) The client gets all upset. really YOU ordered the same file... should I have just kept my little mouth shut and charged you again for the SAME file? all to save your fragile ego or whatever issue you have?

Client today: "please size as provide. On the pdf file I asked about an area on the layout if we needed tread or if it will knockout fine. If it needs tread please use your best judgement"

I have not been in the tire business since the mid 1980s when I worked in a coal mine in southern Indiana. "tread" ha. twice!!

but Heaven forbid if a digitizer misspells a word! just sayin.

Client: "I need these 4 words to each be 1/2\" in height and exactly 3 inches in width"

actually there are 8 words in 4 lines. I know, I know, we understand what they intend. but attention to detail for embroidery/digitizing. That being said this will look pretty odd. I think they are putting 4 lines and then separating them at their end for sleeve location.

They sure look odd though.. one line has 1 word so it is STRETCHED out to meet the 3 inches while another line has 3 words which are SMASHED together to fit within 3 inches. None of this will be uniform in appearance for their client and I hope the client is OK with this.
