Kimosetter 340 Computer to Plate Printer

The first generation of KIMOTO computer-to-plate system, Kimosetter 340 is a compact, thermal transfer platesetter specially developed to image Kimoplate e2 polyester plates.

Asking $600 obo. I pay shipping to Continental U.S. International shipping paid by buyer.

This came out of a high school print shop where it has been sitting not being used for 4-5 years. It comes with the printer, about 350-400 plates of varying sizes, and 8 additional ink cartridges.

You will need to provide standard USB printer cable.

Includes 1 box of 100 Kimoplate e2 5mm 11 x 18.5 (unopened)
Includes 1 box of 100 Kimodesk 3mm 8.5x11 (unopened)
Includes 1 box of 100 Kimodesk 3mm 11 x 17 (unopened)
Also includes opened boxes of the Kimoplate 11 x 18.5 (about 20 or so plates) and an opened box of the Kimodesk 11 x 17 (about 75 plates)
Includes 8 sealed cartridges (It looks like it was a 10 pack, of which two are still in the actual printer)

Just the additional supplies retail around $400 total which I am throwing in with the printer.

Includes the RIP software for Windows XP and older.
Does not include physical hardware key but have photocopy of original (misplaced after being in storage). I have talked to Kimoto and am pasting their e-mail below. You can use the RIP and hardware code to run the Kimosetter on Windows XP or older. If you want to run on newer operating system you must purchase hardware key from mykimosetter.com

You can use your kimosetter 340 on Windows XP using a USB cable. A parallel connection is not necessary. The discontinued software is available on www.mykimosetter.com. This software does not require a key. Please note this is Windows XP software only.

To use the kimosetter 340 on Windows Vista, 7, or 8 or Mac 10.5 and up you need to purchase the latest software license key.
