We purchased this 2008 model Kornit 932-NDS from Geneva Capital in the summer of 2011 after they repossessed it from a lessor in North Carolina (I don't have the information on who was leasing it). It arrived in July, and after replacing a secondary ink tank, it had no mechanical issues and has run great ever since.
The only known issue is one of the nozzles in the black or blue head has some banding issues from time to time. It's minor, and we work around by interlacing, but you may want to eventually replace the head. It's gotten better with time as the ink flows, and hasn't impacted our prints enough for us to care, but in full disclosure, there it is.
Our reason for selling is that while you'll get the best prints in the industry at the lowest per-shirt ink prices, the art expertise and learning curve on the Kornit ended up being too much for our graphic designer. Most of our digital prints are one-offs for 1 and 2 pieces, and getting the artwork up to par in a timely manner for them became a persistent issue. We ended up buying the more idiot-proof Brother 782, knowing we'd take a hit on profitability per job, but allowing us to focus on our core, which is screen printing. With that in mind, expect to spend some time learning the ins and outs / variables of the machine. I'm told it didn't need to be as hard as it was, and that there is a class conducted by Kornit USA in Wisconsin that would help, but we never got around to it, and ultimately didn't want the bother.
We're looking for $40,000, which includes the machine, about $2500 worth of ink (expires in about a half year), and a $1725 youth platen.
