I am looking for a large format printer, I have looked at HP 5500 PS UV
is there any other suggestion to get the best quality and value for money. I like the 5500 because it does not seem a need to buy an expensive RIP and could print right out of adobe with it.

any and all feed back appreciated about 5500 or any other competitor.

Hi I have an HP 5500 UV 42" printer for sale. The reason is I opened a new sign business, however, unfortunately we did not succeed. We closed the business after 10 months, and the printer was bought brand new with reciepts. The printer is only 10 months old and is in perfect condition. If you are still interested, I could give you a great deal on the product because as of now it is sitting in my formal living room just taking up space since we closed down our sign shop. if you are using HP5500, you may not need a rip software to output your printing. the quality is pretty good for short period of time and need color calibration every few weeks. if you are printing larger than A1 size, you may find your picture cropped. without rip software it can only print up to a limited length. good luck for HP5500
