Lease or Buy Equipment?

I'm starting a shop, was wondering if anyone knew the best route to take in regards to owning your equipment or leasing it.

6 of one/half dozen of another. If your intent is to keep the equipment long term, then buying probably makes sense. If you want to hold and upgrade within a short window, leasing might make sense.

There are tax's to look into also. Full lease doesnt qualify for property taxes but purchase/lease purchse do. well, in my state anyway.

talk with a local cpa or tax advisor before making any final decisions.
