Greetings all. I'm new to this forum and a complete novice with embroidery. What I would like to start with would be if the great folks here could direct me toward where I could learn more about the basics of embroidery. Links to sites, and / or general FAQ's.

We current have a screen printing bussiness and out source our embroidery request. I would like to start doing this ourselves. I don't want to jump in to fast since we are meeting our customers needs. I do feel as if we are missing out on a good portion of the money that we are paying our embroider.

I know I have seen some mention of the Brother PR600 and plan on looking into what it will do. But I am lacking in the general embroidery knowledge.

Thanks for any help, pointers or directions you folks can give.

I started writing articles and general FAQ's geared towards commercial embroidery, but I've been pretty busy as of late and have not gotten around to it, yet. I will probably finish after I create a better solution for posting classifieds and updating the platform that runs this site.

You can always post specific questions and I'm sure people will be glad to offer some pointers.
