Looking for a label printer and ink for full color printing

Hi,
I am looking for a label printer and ink for full color printing. The label material is 3M PVC.
The printer and the ink can directly print on the PVC labels, no need of coating or laminating.
The ink can be used for full color printing. It should resist washing (up to 60 degC in washing machine) and scratches.

I found two main methods: Inkjet printing with pigment ink and thermal transferring with ink ribbon
I prefer inkjet printing with pigment ink because of good printing quality. However I don’t know which type of printer and ink can fulfill the above two requirements.
Thermal transferring and other printing methods are also acceptable as long as they can directly print on PVC and withstand washing and scratches.

Could anyone please give a suggestion? Any information and recommendations are highly appreciated.
