Cool Looking for recommendations for digitizing software....

Seasons Greetings All!!
I am so confused with all the digitizing software out there!! I'd love to learn how to digitize & possibly make a small side business out of it. The price range is huge as is the quality, I'm sure. If anyone has used Generations - please let me know what you think of it. I know that it is quite pricey. But, you probably get what you pay for.

Thx in advance. JM

Thumbs up Re: Looking for recommendations for digitizing software....

I use the Wilcom software and it is great. Very expensive though. Having been digitizing for the past 9 years, been using Wilcom for the past 7 years, before that I use Stitch made by DataStitch.

www.artisticthreadworks.com This website is a must for embroiderers and digiitzers.I've been a meber for sometime now. They are a distributor for Generations and provide a 30 day trial of a fully loaded version of Generations Plus.I also attended an online demo of Wilcom so I couldn't actually use it.It's a very good program but expensive.I think it would be geared to someone whose been digiitzing and wants to go professional.I'd recommend the Wilcom online demo then Generations 30 day trial version that ATW offers.Become a member so you can do the trial or what they call "Test Drive".Once you see the Generations used you'll be amazed ! I have never received such great customer support from anyone like I do from ATW.Any questions or problems are resolved within hours. They do digitizing seminars all over the country and online webinars as well. You won't regret it.Hope this helps.
