Looking For A Screen Print Shop To Purchase
We Are Going To Start An Embroidery And Screen Printing Business. I Would Really Like To Purchase The Screen Printing Equipment In A Package Deal. We Are Located In Central Kentucky. Does Anybody Have Any Suggestions? Thanks!!!

Hi,
We are a well established company in Georgia that is looking for a new owner. My wife and I purchased this company about 10 and 1/2 years ago. It has a very good reputation and it is in a very limitted competition market. We gross around 250K/year on average. We sell through distributors and also sell retail at specific trade shows or retail oriented shows all around the country. In last few years our visibility is mainly on the East Coast and Midwest. We have a long list of equipment for screen printing on plastic materials. Equipment may be used for any other screen printing materials. Business is good and steady from year to year. Also, we have a brand new "HAPPY" embroidery machine still in the box with all accessories. It has 12 thread system set up. It was never plugged in. This business is ready for a new owner that has basic knowledge of screen printing with U.V. inks. I have an engineering background and it took me a few months of self teaching from pre press to printing. We use all of our equipment just a few months out of the whole year. We have high output semi-automated machinery and we are very efficient. I will help a new owner with all that I know and my wife will take up with sales and marketing effort. We will give as much time as needed for the new owner to feel confortable with this venture at no additional cost. We have a 5,000 s.f building, but we think that all of our equipment could actually fit in about 2,500 to 3,000 s.f. Also, I will offer enough fabricated product line for the whole year of sales activity. That way, new owner will have enough time to learn about all the aspects of this business. Machinery may remain in our building for about 800.00/month leasing fee for one year. After that new owner should find a new place for conducting business. We have priced our business at 435K. That price includes about 250K of finished products at retail cost and all the equipment needed to run this business. Plastic injection molds made for some of our patented products. We will finance a good portion of the purchase price to a qualified buyer. Downpayment is negotiable. This business should be able to pay itself in about 3-5 years. depending how much is taken out of the company for individual paycheck. Cost of materials is about 15 to 25% of gross sales. Travel cost, show rental fees and lodging will be other side of business cost. We travel to Hawaii, Europe and Canada on a regular basis, normally once a year, for all prescheduled events in our industry. Our children enjoy those trips for many reasons. We have an M&R Challenger 8c/10station located in Pittsburgh. Older but everything works. Quincy 7.5 HP compressor. Also a 72 inch Precision Gas Dryer. Bought used in 1993. Also works great. Also Advance Multiprinter 4 color 6 station. Everything works. Here are videos of the shop in late December 2007 or January 2008. Looking for $10,000 for the entire shop.

We have a large shop in Central Ohio that is fully equipped and fully operational. We do bulk contract printing for larger retailers as well as smaller runs for ASI and end user accounts. We farm out most of our embroidery but this can be brought in-house as soon as you wish. The non-bulk part of the business does about $400,000 to $500,000 a year in gross sales and the bulk part did about $780,000 last year.
