Default Looking to Start Small Business

Hi! I am looking to start a very small embroidery business mostly doing children's clothes for friends and family. I have purchased a Brother PE 750II but am clueless on most of what I am doing (correct stabilizer, thread, etc). Can anyone recommend books or training classes I can take to help me? Thanks, I appreciate all the help I can get!

Take a look at John Deere's website. He has videos and other training tools available. Plus, he owns one of the biggest digitizing companys in America.

There is an embroidery specific online forum - eline:
http://www.embroideryline.net/page/page/1764206.htm that is good. Other groups exist such as an SWF users. Do a google search.

The owner of eline has written books on the business. Here is a link:

If you can attend an ISS (Imprinted Sportswear Show) show that would be good. They have area specific seminars & beginners workshops.
