Re: looking for suggestions for a good inkjet printer for heat transfers
Is there a reason you are looking for an inkjet to do sublimation with? I was doing a bit of research into this lately and what I kept hearing was that inkjets that are converted for sublimation are not as reliable (clogs, runs, etc.) as a printer that was set up specifically for sublimation. This may cause more headaches than the money you save.
I personally just got a Sawgrass Virtuoso V800 to do my sublimation. Haven't tried it yet, but the reviews were similar to the Ricoma and it was cheaper. It was part of a complete business package from HeatPressNation.com and although I haven't used it yet [still setting my shop up] I have seen it run at the ISS in Atlantic City and was pleased with the result.
