Low cost digitizing from china / thailand

Hi,
Just bought a PR600 to start a business from home. It seems the most difficult part of the end to end process is the digitizing ?? . I've decided It would be more efficient to buy the digitizing in. I've seen company's advertising from as little as $1 per 1000 .

Can anyone reccomend a low cost and reliable digitizing service ?

Frankly, $1/1000 stitches is extremely cheap

However in my country Indonesia, the price is even lower, less than a dollar/1000 stitches. Yeah it's very very cheap here but of course, you get what you buy... cheap means poor quality, not always but mostly.

For foreign customers, I'll only charge $2-3/1000 stitches and I can guarantee the quality. For introduction, we can negotiate.. how do you think about this offer?

Yeah, Robby i cant agree you any more. the quality of digitizing service will be decrease as the price decrease.

Right, but sadly now most digitizers are striving to be the cheapest..

I think US$ 2-3/1000 stitches to produce good quality work really makes sense to me since the overall cost here is much much lower.

Quality has no value........Thats why i kept option of free test design....Anyone can send me design for checking quality. I charge 2.5 usd per 1000 stitches.

For me this price is ok to charge as this is reasonable! But cheap prices do not always mean that they will be having less quality.

Yes sure, 2.5 USD /1000 stitches is reasonable, Steve.

The price really depends on where you run the business because it mostly depends on how you pay your employees. In developing countries like thailand, it is surely much much lower than in the US or Europe.

Here in the uk we pay about £7.00 per thousand stitches.Unless you are doing a lot of designs per week then the price comes down to about £3.50 per thousand.

That's pretty expensive, but again I think it's reasonable since all the cost in UK are definitely higher than it is in Asia or South America.

At our shop we do not drop our digitizing prices when customers tell us that they can get a design at the low internet prices. Most of the time we charge about $75 for a design. Not by the stitch, but a flat, prequoted fee.

Very soon I plan to offer digitizing at a flat fee of $40 up to 10,000 stitches, and quoted only for full backs and more difficult designs.

I have found that when customers pay as low as $3 per thousand they get a very low quality product, and we still end up having them pay us to digitize it again.

Quality is number one with digitizing because if it is done right the first time you don't have to do it again.

Most of the time I just have to redigitize my underlays to change to/from a full back/left chesct/hat design.

Getting quality digitizing is not so easy over the internet for an execptionally low price. I would really suggest you try some low priced services and high priced services. Compare them and see the difference.

You can get high quality digitizing for low prices too.. i can guarantee that !
