Default MAGNETIC HOOPS: Do you like them.

Any comments and opinions on the magnetic hoops?

Brands, types, sizes, etc?

Magnetic hoops are VERY expensive, but if you do a lot of heavy or bulky/odd items they are awesome.

We use the Mighty Hoops from Hoopmaster, we have a complete set of all the sizes, the two we use the most are the 5.5" square, the 10" Square. The initial investment will hurt, but they are very much worth it.

I agree with Eric... they are worth the investment if you have the work to justify the expense. we use them obviously to avoid hoop burn marks that an operator not experienced enough yet might cause. And they work great for some harder to reach places and for some of our delicate fabrics for our framed art pieces at the gallery.

Magnetic hoops are as they have said, but in my opinion are well worth the price, compared to your hands.
Start out with what you need and build from there. You do t need all of them at once.
