The SprinG3 is the highest dpi industrial printer with the best economies of scale and pricing for thermal transfer ribbons.

Use 4/C process or more than 25 spot colors including metallic gold and silver, opaque white, double bump black and many more to make unique labels.

You can even print one spot color over another for an additional 600+ colors. On process color work, the Spring can hold a 5% dot* at a 120 line screen.

The new Matan SprinG3 delivers superb print quality, faster printing speed and wider substrate range, enabling unique solutions for an even wider range of demanding applications.

Overall Improved Performance
The third generation of the Matan Spring is the fruit of an extensive development process, resulting in the creation of innovative proprietary print head technology designed specifically for the Matan Spring product line.

The new print heads and the related software significantly improve the overall performance of the Spring printing system. Within the same system specifications, there is a dramatic leap forward in print quality and actual printing speeds.

Improved quality parameters include enhanced trapping results, more vivid colors with higher gloss level and smoother tints. Productivity may increase up to 300% since desired quality can be achieved in faster print modes. In addition, identifying the appropriate print parameters is much faster and easier.

Higher Media Versatility
The new SprinG3 can now print with much broader media versatility, allowing quality printing on substrates including many types of paper, coarse-surfaced media and exotic substrates such as diamond grade reflective sheeting.

SpotBoard Technology
Earlier this year Matan released the SpotBoard electronic card, which is now standard in all SprinG3 machines. In addition to enabling individual control over the energy level of each printing station it offers Plug & Play USB connectivity to any computer including laptops.

Matan will shortly announce its worldwide upgrade plan, so that our existing Spring installed base will soon be able to enjoy the new SprinG3 advantages.

Take your printed labels to the Digital Finishing System to laminate, die-cut, strip, slit and rewind your printed labels in minutes.

You can service all your customer's short run needs with variable speeds and resolutions. Print high resolution decorative wine bottle labels to simple black and white name plates.

Use resolutions of 1200x400, 800x400, 400x400, and 200x400. The lower the resolution, the faster it will print. For instance, simple safety labels may be printed at 400x200 at 177 linear inches per minute (14.75 ft. per min., 885 ft. per hr.).

New for 2006: Independent print head energy controls: Now the Spring comes with an updated print head controller and software that allows the user to adjust the energy going to each of the 6 print stations independently.

This helps to control the more difficult trapping and overprint jobs that require separate settings for each ribbon. Since all ribbons are not created equal, this new feature helps the user chart profiles for different colors on a variety of materials. Upgrades to existing printers are available.

New Re-registration eye: Another improvement and option for the Spring is the ability to register to pre-printed media. Whether you want to print more than 6 colors on the Spring (running it through twice), or you want to imprint variable data on to pre-printed media* rolls, it works great and is accurate up to 1mm.

The Spring 12 comes standard with it's own RIP software running on Windows with step and repeat functions. It receives eps, tiff, and pdf files. It will run from the PC platform and communicates via USB connection to the workstation

A robust variable data program is also available as an option. The "Spring Pro" comes with the Re-registration eye and the Variable Data software.

The In-feed will take a 20" outside diameter roll. It comes standard with an anti-static ionizer and vacuum station (vacuum not included). There is an optional "cap-stripping" station that removes protective liners from the printing surface just prior to the anti-static/vacuum station.
