Contacted Melco re: communications software needed for these machines. This was their response: "The software you need to communicate with the EMC6 is ENS (embroidery network software) the cost is 400.00 and you will need the pci card which runs 395.00. The ENS will only allow you to send designs to the EMC machines it has no letter or sizing capabilities. The next step up is design shop lite which includes the ENS software this will allow you to do lettering and sizing the cost is 995.00"
Don't know if your machines will require the PCI board, or if that is for the computer that will be used to control the EMC6 - Melco didn't say.
Just in case someone wants to know what/how/why/how much.
