The machine utilizes .ofm format but can read/import many others including .PES and .DST format. While this package does not include the Melco digitizing software, the machine will import a large number of embroidery file types. Images can be digitized using a different software other than Melco or outsourced to the many companies online for the various fabric and item types you can do on this unit. Digitizing softwares are quite expensive and you may opt to use one of the latter until you learn how to digitize for hats and hard stretchy fabrics.
