melco software problem

Hi,
Can everybody help me fix my computer software? For some reason a few weeks ago my software want to save my files as a ".DSTS" after I save it as a ".DST" and when I put a design on a floppy disk it put it on the disk and my USB. I have called Melco but no luck of everyone calling me back when it first started and then a last week they called and the person had no clue could not help. My computer did this when I first got the software and a tech with name of Mark helped me. He just jumped on my computer and fixed it.
Any help would great. I call this files ghost on the disk because you can not open them.

i am using design shop 16 years.

From EDS2 , EDS4 , design shop ver 7 and ver 9.

I am using ver 7 and ver 9 now. Only ver 7 have same problem.

We are just using it , When it read on the machine we just select file (ignore file name with "-1" )

If I find out how to fix it I will let you know.
I do the same thing about ignoring the "-1" file. I call these files ghost becuase not all my machines can see them. They eat up space on the flippy disk when I'm making names.
