Default Moving a Belt Printer

Attached are a few pictures of a couple presses we broke down this week. One was over 75' long. I thought these shots might be interesting to check out. The forklift in the pictures is a four mast model, the belt was over 35' in the air and still not extended half way out. We pulled the machine under the raised belt to fold the belt back over the wooden trusses on the half of the machine we are shipping with the belt remaining on. This is tedious work, the belt alone is over $25,000.00 to replace.

Here are a few more interesting pictures of the move. It's not often you see a 40' long 10+ ton machine 9' in the air.

Nothing wrong with the machine, only 500,000 prints. Belt printing is messy and it doesn't take long for machines to look rough.
