Either or. Besides support & service - what about machine reliability and production?

I think both can be workhorses.... if you are buying NEW. Just not sure the larger pricetag on the one is really justified? But that one will hold it's resale value better, so it is a toss. If you plan on keeping the thing for many years then it might be worth it when you plan to exit the business.

What about used? Still big difference in prices. Does one fade in production & reliabilty quicker than the other?

SWF = Seldom Works Fine

I'll leave it at that, seeing as I don't have one nice thing to say about SWF, I used to be a huge tajima fan too, but they "ain't what they used to be" either ... I am slowly moving to all Barudan in my shop. Almost there, I have nothing bad to say about Barudan, their support is awesome. Sales people know their stuff. Machines are quiet nimble, and run like a workhorse ... I run my 15 head at 1,000 spm without ANY issue.

I suggest looking into the Meistergram Machines since Pantograms took over sole distribution. Pantograms has techs all over the nation and has been in this industry for over 40 years. Plus the best deals on multi-heads! Let me know if you would like more info.
