Default Need Help with Machine Values PLEASE!!!

Hi,
I am considering purchasing an already established embroidery and screen printing business, but I am having some difficulty in assessing the value of the machines and equipment that come with the business in order for me to make an offer on the business. I am hoping that someone (or many) on this site can help me in assessing the values, as I am not sure that the seller is giving correct amounts. Just from my research, some seem to be priced low and some are priced high. Can anyone please help me in this matter? It would be greatly appreciated. The machines and the values assessed by the current owner are listed below: Thank you in advance for any help anyone can give me.

Open up shop right next to their location.. why buy them directly? Just spend your money on signage and customer service... sub out every order you get until you get enough of one type of order ( small singlehead embroidery orders, larger multihead embroidery orders, small screenprinting orders, large screenprinting orders, etc) that it makes sense to buy the equipment that best fits the orders you are getting..... otherwise you are buying everything when some , if not many, of those dollars will just be wasted sitting around doing nothing for you!

If they are going out of business there is a real reason... find out what that reason is and use that to your advantage. If it is location, then open up shop at a better location, if it is that their sales have gone down then spend your money on advertising to gain more market share, if they are retiring (voluntary or involuntary) then do not buy them... if their business is that dependent on the owners being there... not a stand alone company where the owner has done a good job of empowering their employees to handle day to day activities and sales .... then run, do not walk, away.... you buying such a business is not advisable.... if they leave the business will probably leave with them! or go somewhere else anyway.

all the softwear is over priced, you will be a long time spending 15000 on digitising, and it takes alot of learning to do it right.the 6 head is worth max 22,000, the 4 head is well priced as are the singles, but one is a toy really. whats the competition in the area, whats the customer accounts like, are they getting paid?do you know anything about the business?
will they reset up at home if you buy the business, you can get a clause drawn up to avoid this happening.
