need machine rec for personal use

I am looking for a machine for Christmas. I am hoping to find one that meets the following criteria:

sewing/embroidering machine
used mainly for sewing and monogramming
can use fonts downloaded from the internet
costs hundreds of dollars, not thousands
fairly easy to use (I'm a beginner)

Any recommendations?
