You almost got it right. I posted it for $8000 FIRST, then when I got up to 108 views and no replies 24 hours later, I figured if not even 1% of people replied it wasn't nearly attractive enough. That's when I submitted the second post for $5000. I saw enough posts where people got branded as scam artists for posting sob stories, so I figured I'd go with an approach that benefitted the buyer. Since you publicly posted this question, I had to go for the public answer. Like I said in the post title, I needed to sell it FAST. When it didn't happen fast enough, i.e. 24 hours, I reduced it significantly. Desperate times call for desperate measures. If I just keep getting replies like this, however, I'll just pull it and figure out something else rather than risk being viewed as dishonest based on people either being confused by my multiple posts or being confused by replies like yours.
Short answer: 5 grand is as much of a bath as I can take in this thing. BTW its a 2004 model. Anyone interested, including the illustrious enquirer?
