Default New to all this

I bought a Brother se425 and while I am sure this not a top of the line machine it seems to do a really good job on things I have downloaded from online etc. I want to try and turn a logo into embroidery I have done an ok job, but it has way too many jump stitches(I think thats the right term). It is all one color but there are a lot of random threads all over the place. I do not know how to fix this issue at all. I attached a copy of the file. I think it is probably stupid rookie mistakes that I am making I just do not really know anyone to teach me differently.
