Re: New Business and New equipment
Printa 6 color is the only way to go if you are looking at printa for equipment. No matter what press you go with, go 6 color minimum.
Anyway, Printa offers a good package for startups. However, you must understand the limitations. If your orders are small (<500 pieces), then this can be a good system to start. Its not designed for volume production. Know your market before you buy anything.
I have several acquaintances that own the printa system and are VERY happy with the equipment and support. I have also met people who were not happy with it but they expected to do heavier volume than it is designed for.
If you are brand new to the business, you need to make SUPPORT your most important element to look for. Most equipment manufactures are just that, manufactures. Who are you going to get training from? Who are you going to call if you have a question about how to print on a certain product? and so forth....
Talk to the support people at Printa. Ask for names of current Printa owners you can contact. Ask the contact specifically about support.
Enjoy!
