Ink2image is pleased to announce the introduction of our i2i Absolute Black and Clear inks for printing screen separations on Epson printers.
The Absolute Black ink uses specially formulated dyes that absorb UV and block light better than the original Epson inks. This means that screens be burned for longer during the exposure process for better polymer curing. The inks also film form better than the original pigment inks so that the printer can set to print at a higher speed, and scratch resistance is improved to enable films to be kept and re-used. Ink2image supplies the Absolute Black inks filled into remanufactured cartridges for use on most popular Epson wide format printer models. Savings are around 30% compared to using Epson black ink cartridges. The Absolute Black ink is also available in bulk bottles for use in our refillable cartridges for Epson Pro wide format printers and many 13” desk top models including the Epson Photo 1400. Savings from using bulk ink are over 70% compared to original cartridges.
The Absolute Clear inks are designed for use in the non-active channels on an Epson printer. In many screen separations printing applications, only the black channel on a printer is used for printing. The other non-active channels must contain ink for the printer to function and to protect the print head from damage. Inks in these non-active channels are used during cleaning cycles and ends up in the printer’s waste tank. The Absolute Clear inks provide a more cost effective alternative for these non-active channels and will keep the print heads operational should the printer ever need to be used for full color printing in the future. Absolute Clear inks are supplied in remanufactured cartridges at a saving of over 50% compared to original cartridges, or in bulk bottles for use in refillable cartridges.
The i2i Absolute Black and Clear inks are available for use on most Epson desk top models and for use on all Epson Pro wide format printers including the Epson Pro 4880, 7700, 7880, 7890, 9700, 9880, and 9890.
