Default New Member Hello

Hello,

I have been embroidering on a Bernina Artista 200E for about 7 years now. During this time I have learned a lot about thread, needles, and stabilizers. I have embroidered on many different materials and items. I recently embroidered 6 horse saddle pads for my daughter's trainer. I didn't know if my machine would embroider so thick an item, but with a jeans needle it did. Everything I have asked my Bernina to embroider on, it has.

I am starting my research into the commercial embroidery machine arena. I just went to my first ISS show in Orlando last week (4/12/2013). It was a good learning experience. However, I did not see as many embroidery machine vendors as I expected. I have not yet decided on a type or a brand of commercial machine. I am still in the research phase of my decision. The vendors were not happy to learn that I was there to do research, not buy, but I will not be pressured into making a quick decision.

I'm interested in learning more about commercial embroidery machines. Any tips and info on this topic will be very much appreciated. I live in the greater Tampa Florida area.

As a machine vendor that was at the Orlando ISS show I sure hope you got to see our equipment running at the event and that I got to speak with you as well.

I never expect to close that many machines sales at a show and I do not like to PUSH people to purchase.

Most people like to watch the machines run at the show and then make their buying decisions after the event.

To me its all about being at the show and letting people see your equipment running in person and then asnwering their questions.

I personally was working in the booth with Balboa Thread Works and running their designs on a ZSK Sprint 5 machine.

I did sell a few machines at the show however the idea of me being there was just to let people see the equipment in person and explain the benefits of the ZSK Brand.

I agree this ISS show was much smaller than it was in past years, however most if not all of the machine Companys were present.

I sure hope that I got to speak with you at the show and that you took the time to watch our machine running ! Production on ZSK is one of the best selling features and by far we were the most productive machine at the event !

Good luck with your research !

Rick
