new and need advice b4 purchase of machine

Hi, I am looking at buying a 2000 Brother BES-1210 and the person that has it does not know anything about it. Their wife used it for a year, and it has not been used since. They don't remember how to run it.

Does anyone here have this machine, and how well do you like it?

Is this a difficult machine to learn to use?

I have a home embroidery machine now and i want to upgrade, but a little concerned. They say that it comes with the software and key for custom designs along with Worktable, computer, hoops and misc items to round out this entire system.
Is there anything i should look for in particular?
