Default Newbie Needs Advice

Ok here is my problem. Setting up for hat and everything starts up good, stitches looking good then I see the thread go slack and then and a loop in the stitch. It clear again and then will repeat itself further down the pattern or the thread will ravel up between the last guide and the needle. It will also stop stitching and the thread will not be cut and does not move, could this be a machine problem are a program problem ??

Hi Joel,
I think there are two possibilities. Maybe there are some problems from your machine or the digitizing file. I am professional digitizing worker. So i will know more about the embroidery digitizing works. You can ask a good digitizer help you with checking the file. Hope it can help you a little. TKS! Kammy

Wink Re: Newbie

Thanks Kammy,

I found that there was a problem with the machine and corrected that problem but we where exporting a drawing from Coral Drawing into Embroidery Office which were causing some mixed signal to the machine. We are still very much into the learning cure.

I also need help. I am looking to buy an embroidery machine. I am new to sewing in general. When I look online for embroidery information most of the things that come up are dealers wanting to sell. I am looking for information only. I would like to get info on the Brother disney 207D embroidery machine. Things like supplies I need, how to use them & what they do. I don't know ANYTHING about embroidery, I just learned to sew a few months ago. I just sort of learned what a hoop is, don't know what a stabilizer looks like or how to use it? I am really in bad shape. But I want to embroider. I am thinking of looking for a class but until then, where can I read to get information only? I would be happy with ANY reply. Even if it just to give me one small piece of information about embroidery would make me happy.
Thanks
