Newbie Intro

I just joined this forum today after coming across a post while googling the Brother PR650. Dummy me didn't read the date of the post for this same machine for sale before replying to it The person who gets my email, please forgive me for replying to a post made back in 2010

Anyway, I have a Janome 12000 that is only 10 months old that I love. But I want to upgrade to a multi needle machine. I don't know for sure what I want so I'm looking for feedback.

I'm a registered nurse in rural south Texas. I enjoy quilting, machine embroidery, road trips, fishing with the hubs, and hanging out with my daughter and her family. Oh! We are expecting a new grandchild in March. Nothing against boys but we're hoping for a girl this time. Third time is a charm, right?
