Default Ok to ship machines via UPS or FedEx???

Do you think it is ok to ship an embroidery machine via UPS or FedEx with proper packaging?

I have a Toyota 820 (6 needle) and 850 (12 needle) that needs to be shipped. If I take the machines directly to a UPS or FedEx store and have them package and ship them....shouldn't I be ok? Someone says these need to be crated, but I think they would be ok with UPS/FedEx. What are your thoughts? If they package it, ship it and I have insurance....and something goes wrong...they are liable. Not me. They packaged it.

I hate to tell you its a bad idea, but we have tried many different times, and many different ways. But UPS and FedEx have not proven to be reliable.
Sorry

so can you still find parts for a TMEX-C1201? would that be better than a Toyota 850?

Bad idea,

I wouldnt recomend you ship machines like that. Although we import new multihead machines, they are very different to what you have to ship. Also parts for both 820 and 850 arent available that easily.
