Old BE 100E software needed desperately

anyone have the software and dongle? Or successfully running a different spooler type program for Brother BE 0901E AC.

The only two programs are the BE-100 software which you will have a hard time finding a dongle, and the spooler sub program that brother released. The hard part is getting them to work on newer computers. (nearly impossible in most cases)

I personally have never gotten the spooler to work perfectly cause my single head's serial port doesn't work right.

I have 2 dongles and both work fine on Win XP. Also latest version (2.14) of BES-100 software. Also extra fonts. I use it every day. I would like to put the software on a laptop, but the dongle needs an LP1 Port which you do not find even on desktops any longer. If someone can tell me how I would appreciate it!

If you have a Brother BE-100 Disc or the installation package you can install it on a windows XP laptop pretty easily you just need to find a dongle adapter possibly a USB to parallel port etc.

If you are trying to get it installed onto a newer laptop or even a newer desktop that Is much harder... I can do it but Its a paid walkthrough. And you would still probably need a usb to floppy to install the fonts... (that i haven't tested on a newer computer) and a parallel to serial. Not sure haven't tried that.
