Default One Color Printing DTG?

I have a pillow cover business expanding to printed quotes, sayings etc. I currently do this with professional transfer paper/heat press. I went to a local printer who made some samples for me on an Anajet printer. I really like the result. I intend to produce my product in black. A full color dtg printer seems like overkill. Is there a good similar alternative for doing black only printing?

Thanks for any recommendations.

Michelle

If you are doing just one color, you are not using DTG for its maximum potential. Keep in mind that all colors are made with the CMYK process, so matching pantone is very tough. Your best bet would probably to be just buy a single screen press and do it old school or go with one color transfers like Versatrans.
