Default One Stroke ELT Series

Has anyone tried the ELT (Extreme Low Temp) inks from One Stroke? I have asked them for references but they have been slow to provide any.

We use ELT as well as 5 or 6 other ink series from One Stroke. What are you trying to do with it? What are your concerns?

The ELT will cure at 250 but we typically go 260 with it. Even if you run at a full 320 it has good bleed resistance. It has more of a gloss finish to it that say their Smart series. I personally don't like the black digital underbase they sell with it. It is real grainy and you will have to go low mesh to get it to print. We had to use 86 mesh to get it to work. We just print without it and keep the temp down and it seems to work well. We just ran 102 yellow on digital camo from Badger and it stayed true 102 even after letting them sit for a few days.

My biggest concern was the opacity vs something like Union Maxopake and whether or not it's truly a "all in one print on anything ink" that they claim it is. Most of what I want to print on are comfort colors, gildan soft style etc. The rep told me the ELT series was designed specifically for the softer cottons. Thanks for taking time to respond, I really appreciate your input.

Yeah that is what they say. It isn't a bad all around ink but it is definitely designed more for poly. I like the maxopake a little better if I'm just doing cotton shirts. Right now we are using ELT, maxopake, at Matsui 301 mixing systems based on what we are doing. If it is a sim process job we run the maxopake by itself or over a discharge base If it is just a simple spot color job we will use ELT if we already have the color mixed in it but we do cut it back some with soft hand to improve the feel of the print.
