Arrow Positive direction. Ending point not bevore starting point

Hello everybody!

I heard in a YouTube movie about how works a particular embroidery digital design program about that your patterns should always go in positive direction. And the ending point should not b2y bevore the starting point. What does that mean? Why is it important? Does anybody know? Thanks!

I think what they may mean is that your design should have a natural forward direction and flow during the stitch out. That means your end point should be in proximity to the start point of the next object. The stitch pattern and direction that you use should compliment the design and be chosen for minimal impact on the fabric you're sewing on. The professional digitizers here can definitely correct me but that's what I believe they would be saying! If you have a link to the YouTube video, please share.
