Default Possible reasons that machine embrodery design doesn't open or work and solutions

I often get questions from machine embroidery applique design stitching saying their machine can't open the file or the design doen't work, etc. I conclude them and described the problem and solution as below.
If you have other good solutions and ideas welcom to add here. It will be a big help for embroiderers.

There are some reasons if you can't open the files. Such as software doesn't match, newer version than your machine, size...
You can try the following steps to solve it.

Try A(version problem)
If your machine is an older model. It may not read the file format version I sent you. For example for PES format if your machine can read only PES V4.0 or previous it can not read the file I sent you which is PES V6.0. Please inform me your machine model in detail and I'll prepare you an older version files.
Or you can try to use "Wilcomtruesizersetup" to save to lower version yourself.

Try B
1. Download files in .EMB format(original/native files created by WilcomEmbroidery 1.5).
2. Install WilcomTruesizerSetup software(free to download from Wilcom)
3. Open WilcomTruesizerSetup.
4. Click "File - open - select .EMB file on your computer.
Then you can resize or rotate the design.
* File button is on left top of the screen.
5. Click "File - Save as" to save to format you need. or save to your disk directly.

Try C (Need rotate 90 degree)
If you can't open the file in size that should work on your machine you may need to rotate 90 degree to match your machine.
You can do this on your machine. If your machine can't do this you can try the following steps to solve it.

1. Make sure you have got my latest files.
2. Install WilcomTruesizerSetup software(can get it free from wilcom.com) or other free software like artlink.
3. Open WilcomTruesizerSetup.
4. Click "File - open - select the file on your computer"
5. Right click the design on the screen to select all.
6. On top menu there's a fill space"rotate". Input 90 to make the design vertical. Or click rotate buttom on top right. One click 45. So click twice to rotate 90 degree.
5. Click "File - Save as" to save to format you need. or save to your disk directly.

Try D(usually for JEF format)
1. Open the software--WilcomTrueSizer
2. Click "File - open - select the file on your computer"
3. Click top menu "edit"--select all
4. There are boxes on the lower left of the screen (X and Y) . Input "0.00" for both boxes to make the desing centered.
5. Click "File - Save as" to save to format you need. or save to your disk directly.

If I got something wrong on the above please let me know. And you may have other good solutions. I'll appreciate it if you can share.
