Our custom streetwear silk screen operation is growing and we need talented staff to churn out exciting, quality product. We are looking for a technically savvy employee that can efficiently run custom projects. Our goal is to find an experienced employee that can do multi-color printing from job set up to production, ink blending, color matching and quality control.
This position is temp to hire and wage is dependent on what skills and experience the candidate brings to the position.
Qualified candidates must have the following:
* 3+ years of screen print experience on manual and auto-press,
* 3+ years of ink mixing and PMS matching for production use,
* Experience in all inks, discharge, foil, all over print
* The ability to guide, instruct, teach, and motivate other co-workers and work as a team,
* Recognize and hold high quality during production runs of 12 to 5,000.
Duties will include:
* Set up and expose screens,
* Formulate ink for the material being printed,
* Set up single and multi-color screen prints projects and print the product,
* Assure quality for the whole job run, quickly troubleshoot problems and streamline processes
* Maintain screen print area and machine maintenance,
* Do basic art clean up, color separation, print film as needed
