Our screen printing shop has been in business for over 15 years. The business is a family owned and operated company. A small but rapidly expanding screen print, embroidery, pad print and off set printing shop. We are looking to add a second shift, additional square footage to our facility and new screen printing equipment.

We are looking for an exceptional Lead Screen-Printer to take the reins of our print department and become our production manager. This person will help us become more efficient and help lead our print shop to produce more volume and better quality from our growing shop. Only applicants with Min. 3+ years of floor experience: running machines and overseeing a shop need apply. Must have knowledge of plastisol inks, water based, discharge, and simulated process printing. Manager must know all aspects of screen printing process, coating screens, burning screens, separations, running of an automatic and manual screen printing presses.

Exhibit a proactive mind-set and drive to meet customer's expectations and adopt innovative solutions to operation management issues; use team building and motivational skills to effectively lead a small group of individuals; work harmoniously with peers; and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with set up and operation of automatic M&R screen printing presses.
• Screen Preparation – Direct to screen + films, Exposure and Reclaim
• Ink Mixing/Color Matching
• Shipping/Receiving Supplies and Apparel
• Keep track of supplies and maintain a proper inventory of ink, cleaning supplies, screens, etc.
• Conduct preventative cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
• Scheduling
• Job Tracking and Order Paperwork.
• Quality control.
• Other duties as assigned.


Education/Skills:
• Minimum 4 Years experience in the screen printing business
• Excellent customer relations/service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong product and process knowledge.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Possess a sense of urgency.
• Strong time management and organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Basic understanding of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop a plus but not required
• Embroidery experience a plus but not required.
