Default Puff Problems

Can anyone give me some insight as to what I am doing wrong when sewing out this puff Talk Head. It seems to be pulling in the fabric and making the hats conceived where the design is. I am using the hat needle plate and 2 mm puff on and Pantagram 1501 single head machine.

Default Re: Puff Problems

as no one has answered I will try just to give my idea? Sew the design with the cardboard that comes with the hat. inside of course instead of any other paper you would use. The cardboard worked for us no pellon just free cardboard. now that being said some hats just cannot handle puff as it takes 3x the stitches... and I bet your thread is stronger than the cap material! Try replacing the design with one without 3D to see how that works normally? experiment...
