Unhappy Quality is horrible? is it the Digitizing?

So I havent been digitizing that long at all so I'm still new at this. First I digitized the image and did a sample of some fabric . The quality came out fine but when I did a 2nd sample on a hat it came out horrible! i'm not sure where to go from here any help?

Also Can someone help me out I'm attaching my .PXF digitized file that I did. think someone could check it out and let me know what i'm doing wrong if it is in fact my digitizing? Thanks

hi, is it digitized for a hat? meaning sewing from the bottom of the design up to the top and from the center out? so Maybe the 21 part, then the TER and then the IRE and then the ball on top, etc. Cap digitizing can take more color changes, but it helps make sure registration is less of an issue.

First off you're satin stitches look a little choppy, What program are you using to digitize?

Secondly, others are correct. Did you digitize this specifically with a cap in mind. Are you remembering center-out sewing pattern?

In noticing the finer details around the ball, mainly the tail, you seem to be having some pull compensation issues. Try backing off a touch, it will make your lines look a little "fuller"

Last but not least, are you using good stabilizer? Say 3oz.? Also, are they cheap caps, the quality can REALLY affect the sewing. Plus, make sure you are hooping the caps snugly and have the sides really pulled and clipped tight. A lot of issue with caps stems from the hooping.

Keep at it! Caps are a B**** and can be rough to get used to, if there wasn't so much good money to be made in caps I highly doubt most of us would even bother!
