Question Question on Embroidering with Wooly Nylon

I'm embroidering name tags on an EMP6 and am having trouble with the edging. The customer wants a merrow edge out of Wooly Nylon. The result has been wads of birds nests on the top and bobbin portion of the design.

Has anyone used Wooly Nylon in an embroidery machine? If so what's the secret to a successful sew out? Should I just give up and try completing the edges with my serger?

Doing it all one step with the EMP6 would save me a lot of time but I do have the serger as a back up if necessary.

Thanks,
Patricia
