what are the downfalls to the heat press tshirt printing buisness i mean what is the ink cost like and what is the potential for what type of shirts you can print

For 100% cotton t-shirt, you use pigment ink; for other garment material, use sublimation ink.

sublimation ink will definitely be more expensive. About USD0.55/ML in China.
