Sodium meta-Periodate, that's what you need. That's the name of the stuff that strippers are made of. Main benefit is: When diluted with water and placed in dip tank it is by far the cheapest way of reclaiming screens. Use Google and you should be able to find bunch of manufacturers or distributors in US. I'm from Europe so can't help you much with that part. Just be sure that you're not looking for premium or lab grade usually packed in small glass bottles, 'cause you will be surprised with the price. I don't know size of your shop but buying several lbs can save you a lot of money, comparing to buying 100gr bags. Diluted 1:60 up to 1:100 with water. The SMP I'm buying is manufactured in China and cost me about 40$ for 1kg (2 lbs).

Cool Re: Reclaiming crystals

There is no shortage we have seen , we sell lots of concentrated reclaimer, the most popoular is a pre diluted version 1 part concentrate 25 parts water if useing a dip tank (which is best) keeps cost way down labor time way down and water useage way down and its very inexspensive, the crystals are a thing of the past unless you want to exsposure yourself to another pure dangerous chemical the concentrated liquid is easier and faster email me direct I will send you some free samples try it your self, when we do training in shops when useing a decent emulsion and a dip tank and a GOOD power washer reclaiming should take no longer than 30 -45 seconds per screen on a 23x31 if it takes longer your doing something wrong

Cool Re: Reclaiming crystals

Well you dont want to stick it in your face or ingest it, that goes for any chemical, the reason 98% of all chemical companies went to the concentrated liquid version is it is easier to use dilutes faster no stiring and is not as dangerous in its liquid verses a powder, it s faster to prep a tank also.. we have crystals also for some old timers for insist thats what they want but i never recomend them anymore and i grew up useing them, I have been in the manufacturing for over 25 years and supplies and machinery now around 8 years,

My client base is over 150 companies 15 are hugh companies not one of my customers uses crystal anymore.. The parent company does have crstals for some people who thats what they want. I have agood relationship with my customers so i keep them up to dat e with the best products and safest most of my buisness is in california which is super strick, we also sell a super concentrate which is 55 to 1 part chemical but it cost a lot more thats why i recomend the xer-25 1 part chemical 25 parts water in a a dip tank.

be free to cal me 8 am to 9 pm 6 days a week 714-862-5238

besides just read the msds sheets full face respirator, chemical googles etc etc
