Jermaine I wish you had researched and found this thread BEFORE buying your Ricoma. What research DID you do? To help others who are reading this, what did you look at before making the decision to purchase an embroidery machine? What helped you or steered you towards this particular machine? Hopefully they will fix the issues you are currently having but I am more concerned about what makes someone go down this path to begin with?

Is the Ricoma brand sold under different names as well? Just wanting to know what to look out for. I heard that one company makes this embroidery machine, rebrand it and sell it to different customers.

Jermaine, our technicians have gone through the troubleshooting procedures with you yesterday and have determined that the main motor driver board would need to be replaced to fix the issue you are experiencing, and we apologize that the main motor did not fix the issue previously but at least it allowed us to rule out the motor as a potential problem. From our understanding, you mentioned after our troubleshooting procedures with you that you did not want to proceed with replacing the boards that we recommended, but please do let us know if the situation has changed so we can help assist you further. Thank you.

I know I am late coming into the party, but they have not changed and neither has their product... It's still trash and does not do as promised.

Do not purchase... They were going to take it back and until they do I will let everyone know the trash they sold me.

That's exactly what I'm hoping for. I just referred to as them and apparently their aid marketers in that dept are currently in a assembly. The person I spoke with has arranged for a name again for loan. I will file again here with what takes place.

Please don’t buy it. I have friends that own them and nothing but headaches. Speak with a machine tech, and they can give you good advice. I was told to stay away from the chinese machines

There good machines you just need to understand them and embroidery. Don't thing there just a plug and play machine and once you buy it your going to instantly start making money nope that's not how it works. Also don't learn to digitize if your new cuz is go take more time to get use to the machine and auto digitize is not it.
