Pretty sure this is what Maynard James Keenan was trying to say.

I've got a mate in the fire service who got sent across with a NZ contingent to help the bush fires and he was amazed how broke the state was. Dangerous considering the state and size of its economy is much bigger than some countries and the debt it has. Also the state of maintenance, roads, utilities, schools etc. it's not unique to them, it's across the western world to greater or lesser extents. I saw the tees plus auction, sad seeing auctions like that. Wish I had bid on the machines as they seemed very cheap!

Hey, I'm sure they want to milk it for all they can.

They have lost so much face with you that they need to recoup some of it however they can!
