Default Roland Camm-1 PNC 1800 / Illustrator CS question

so bear with the terrible first post, ill try to pop in and answer any questions i can to help out as well, but we just got a 48" Roland Camm-1 PNC 1800 and got it all setup and running, but when you print from illustrator CS the driver wont allow it to print wider than 11 inches.

beings it's a 48" cutter 11" doesnt do us much good. if anybody can give some words of advice on whther we need to use a different application to cut, or if there is a way to fix the driver to allow it to cut 48" wide it would be much appreciated

thanks!

In your software, is the design "page" set to 48" or 11"? That's what it sounds like.

it's locked up, we cant add a media size at all.
in the printer preferences it has it set for 11" wide by 60" tall and thats it. when you try to add another media size it's just "defined by driver" as a max of 11x60

again, any help is much appreciated.

It sounds like a setting issue to me as well. You can always roll you immage son thier side and print 60"x11" instead of 11"x60".

Sorry about that, the devil made me do it .

You might try, (http://www.rolanddga.com/asd/support/wizard/default.asp. There are several drivers that you can choose from to download that may solve your problem.

Hope this helps.......
