Default Roland for garment transfers

Does anyone out there use a Roland printer/cutter for transfers on dark garments? They advertise a setup using white and metallic silver along with CMYK. Wondering how it compares to a DTG in appearance/opacity.

We use a versa camm for print and cut. Doesn't really compare to a DTG cause its a completely different process. I did not go with the metallic or white setup. These special inks can create havoc on you print head.

I went with Metallic and regretted it. Metallic ink cost a lot more than cmyk and when I offered it to my customers and showed them samples they like the metallic prints but the pricing was better on the CMYK so they usually went with that one.
