No these platens will not “probably warp”. The aluminum plate is 6061 aluminum and has a memory; it can even be bowed in a hydraulic press and will return to its original flatness. I do not believe that you ever bought anything from us. I say this for the following reasons:
I privately contacted you, Impressionindustries, through a Digitsmith private message and also by e-mail (he/she having sent me a threatening e-mail after posting on Digitsmith). In the private communication I offered to make it right with you. It has now been over 7 weeks since these communications have been sent and I have heard nothing from you concerning my desire to correct the problem. No further e-mail, no private message, and no phone call (our land line, and my personal cell phone numbers are right here on Digitsmith.). Impressionindustries, I continue to extend the offer of making right your purchase of “boards” from us. Though, considering the above mentioned lack of correspondence and how you approached the whole situation here on Digitsmith makes me very doubtful that you purchased anything from us. You began by asking what appeared to be legitimate questions but in retrospect seem to have been designed to create doubt in a prospective buyer’s mind concerning the platens we sell. This then became obvious (at least to me) when you did not receive answers that you liked and I posted quotations of people saying how pleased they were with the platens they purchased from us. Seriously, you proceeded to go a little ballistic. You cast aspersions on myself, our business and the platens we are selling. You appear very loyal to M&R, and no doubt have reason to be; they are a fine company. Unfortunately your behavior here does not speak well of yourself and whether you have learned anything from M&R about character. You know, people believe that we become like the company we keep. So, remember that by you speaking up for M&R, your behavior reflects upon them.
Impressionindustries, you are certainly entitled to your opinion, but our customers certainly have a different opinion. We have had 5 repeat buyers this month, one of them a triple-peat. We had 4 repeat buyers last month, one of them also a triple-peat. To them I say, thank you.
