For Sale: Paxar 636 B Thermal Transfer Printer

The machine we have for sale is a Paxar 636B Thermal Transfer Printer. It is an industrial thermal printer. The 636B is the higher end version of the 636, the Paxar 636B thermal transfer printer has one 300 dpi print head and can print up to seven inches per second. The 636B offers high productivity and exceptional print quality on a variety of materials including heat seal fabrics, pressure sensitive supplies and shipping labels.

It was purchased to be used in our software company here in California. Its purpose was to print labels for our software products, alas the business went in a different direction and the Paxar 636B was retired with approximately 20 hours on it. It has been in our office which is air conditioned (climate controlled), under a plastic cover ever since 2002.

It comes with owner’s manuals, PC Mate Plus v4 software, and extra labels.
